Travel & Transportation

Travel to and from Cedarbrook Lodge is at the expense of participants. The cost of parking is included in your registration fee should you choose to drive to the venue. A complimentary shuttle is available between the Lodge and Sea-Tac International Airport, the Seattle Link light rail, and the Seattle Amtrak station. To request shuttle transportation, please contact Cedarbrook Lodge directly at 206.901.9268 and select option 2 for shuttle pick up.

Cancelation & Refund

All cancelation/refund requests must be received in writing by email to 6R Learning Collaborative. Cancelations requested prior to July 31, 2024 will be refunded at 90% of the paid registration fee. Cancelations requested between August 1 and August 31, 2024 will be refunded at 75% of the paid registration fee. No refunds can be made after August 31, 2024. Refund requests will be processed within sixty (60) days after the request is received. Send cancelation/refund related correspondence to connect@6RLearningCollab.org.

Substitution

Registrations may be transferred to another person through August 31, 2024. The original registrant should submit a transfer notice email to connect@6RLearningCollab.org including the name of the person to whom the registration is being transferred along with the phone number and email of the substitute. A registration form will be sent to the transfer recipient for completion; upon the receipt of the completed form, the transfer will be considered official.

CEUs

Up to 12 CEUs will be awarded, dependent on the sessions attended as some sessions are not eligible for CEUs. To receive CEUs for attending approved session, registered participants must sign in at the beginning of the session, attend the entire session, and complete the evaluation survey(s). Upon receipt of the completed evaluation survey(s), CEU certificates will be sent to the email address provided during registration.

Meals

The standard registration fee includes breakfast and lunch each day of the Retreat and dinner on Saturday evening. Light snacks, coffee, and refreshments will also be available for attendees mid-morning and mid-afternoon; and complimentary snacks are available in the hotel living rooms for participants who are paid for lodging at the venue. The two-night registration fee will include happy hour drinks and hor d'oeuvres on Friday evening. Meals and happy hour refreshments are available only during the times listed on the final agenda.

Photography & Recording

o Attendees may not record in any format any session offered during this Retreat. o As a condition of enrollment and participation in this Retreat, participants and attendees of majority age grant irrevocable and perpetual permission to record and use their name, voice, likeness, and/or picture in connection with their participation and attendance without further compensation to participants for this purpose. All photographs, audiotapes, videotapes, digital recordings, broadcasts, and other embodiments created by 6R Learning Collaborative, which may include Participants’ names, voices, likeness, and/or pictures, shall be property of 6R Learning Collaborative, and Participants waive any claims that they may have with respect to such uses including, without limitation, claims of defamation, invasion of privacy, or infringement of rights of publicity, copyright, trademark, or moral rights.

Anti-Harassment Policy

OVERVIEW 6R Learning Collaborative is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all who attend the Retreat regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, disability or handicap, marital status, sexual orientation, veteran status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws. This Anti-Harassment Policy outlines our expectations for all those who participate in the Retreat as well as the consequences for unacceptable behavior. We expect all Retreat participants to co-create safe and positive experiences for everyone. “Participant” in this policy refers to anyone present at the Retreat, including but not limited to, contractors, presenters, vendors/exhibitors, sponsors, venue staff, and all attendees. EXPECTED BEHAVIOR We expect all participants at the Retreat to abide by this Anti-Harassment Policy in all venues, including ancillary events and official and unofficial social gatherings. • Exercise consideration and respect in your speech and actions. • Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech. • Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants. • Alert Retreat facilitators and/or Lodge staff if you notice a dangerous situation, someone in distress, or violations of this Anti-Harassment Policy, even if they seem inconsequential. UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR Unacceptable behaviors include, but are not limited to, • intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning speech or actions by any participant in the Retreat, at all related events, and in one-on-one communications carried out in the context of the Retreat; • harmful or prejudicial verbal or written comments or visual images related to gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, disability, age, appearance, or other personal characteristics; • inappropriate use of nudity and/or sexual images in public spaces (including presentation slides); • deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following; • harassing photography or recording; • sustained disruption of sessions or other events; • unwelcome and uninvited attention or contact; • physical assault (including unwelcome touch or groping); • real or implied threat of physical harm; and • real or implied threat of professional or financial damage or harm. CONSEQUENCES OF UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR Unacceptable behavior from any participant at the Retreat will not be tolerated. • If a participant engages in unacceptable behavior, 6R Learning Collaborative may take any action they deem appropriate, including removal from the Retreat without refund. • We also reserve the right to refuse registration to anyone with a history of unacceptable behavior(s) including, but not limited to, those described in this policy. REPORTING UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR If you are harassed, or witness someone else being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the Retreat facilitation team immediately, who as identified on their badge. • All reports will be kept confidential to the extent possible, but confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. • If possible, provide the following information, preferably in writing: • Identifying information (name, role at the conference) of the alleged harasser. • The behavior that was in violation. • The approximate time of the behavior (if different than the time the report was made). • The circumstances surrounding the incident. • Other people involved in or witnessing the incident. • If needed or requested, Retreat facilitators will help participants contact venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the Retreat.

Use of Personal Information

Your personally identifiable information will not be shared, sold, or used for any purpose other than to communicate with you about events offered by 6R Learning Collaborative.
